മാങ്കരയിലേക്ക് ഒരു യാത്ര - ഭാഗം 2

 ഞങ്ങൾ ആദ്യമായി പോയത് രോഗികൾ കിടക്കുന്ന വാർഡുകളിലേക്ക് ആണ്.എന്റെ ഔദ്യോഗിക നിർവഹണം നടത്തേണ്ട ഈ സ്ഥാപനത്തിന്റെ നാമം  Arya Vaidyan P. V Rama Varier Memorial Ayurveda Hospital & AVP Training Academy   എന്നാണ്. ഇത് Arya Vaida Pharmacy [Coimbatore] Ltd - (AVP) ന്റെ ശാഖ  ആണ്.

ഇവിടെ കിടത്തി ചികിത്സ നടത്തുന്ന നിരവധി   വാർഡുകൾ ഉണ്ട്ട്.  പ്രധാനമായും ഇരുപത്തിരണ്ട് മുറികൾ ഉള്ള ഒരു കെട്ടിടം, പത്തിൽ താഴെ മുറികൾ ഉള്ള മറ്റു കെട്ടിടങ്ങൾ, കോട്ടേജുകൾ  അങ്ങിനെ പോകുന്നു സൌകര്യങ്ങൾ . 

എല്ലാ മുറികളും രണ്ട് കട്ടിലും കിടക്കകളും  കൂടി ഉള്ളതാണ്. രോഗികളുടെ സൗകര്യം പോലെ സിംഗിൾ / ഡബിൾ  രീതിയിൽ ഉപയോഗിക്കാവുന്നതാണ് . എല്ലാ മുറികളിലും ഒരു മേശയും രണ്ട് കസേരകളും ഒരു സ്റ്റൂളും, അലമാരയും  ബൈ - സ്റ്റാണ്ടർക്ക് കിടക്കാനുള്ള സൌകര്യവും, ബാത്ത് റൂമിൽ വെസ്റ്റേണ്‍ കമോടും ഇരുപത്തിനാല് മണിക്കൂറും ചൂടുവെള്ളം ലഭിക്കുന്ന സൌകര്യവും ഉണ്ട്.

മുറികളെല്ലാം കൊതുക് കടക്കാത്തവിധം നെറ്റ് അടിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.  ഇനി രോഗികള്ക്ക് റെപ്പല്ലർ ഉപയോഗിക്കണമെങ്കിൽ  കൂടുതൽ  പണം  നൽകിയാൽ ലഭിക്കുന്നതാണ്. കുടിക്കാൻ മരുന്ന് വെള്ളം  സൌജന്യമായി ലഭിക്കുന്നു.


ഇവിടെ ഡോക്ടർ പ്രാർത്ഥ സാരഥി ആണ്  മെഡിക്കൽ ഓഫീസർ. അദ്ദേഹത്തോടൊപ്പം  ഡോക്ടർ വർഷയും മറ്റു ഡോക്ടർമാരും ഉണ്ട്. 

 ഇവിടെ ചികിത്സ  കൂടാതെ പഠനവും ഉണ്ട്. DIPLOMA IN AYURVEIDC HEALTH CARE ASSISTANCE [recongnized by  Bharathiar  University] ഇത്തരത്തിൽ ഉള്ള തെറാപ്പിസ്ടുമാർക്ക് ഉള്ള ഒരു ഡിപ്ലോമ കോർസ് ഇവിടെ മാത്രമേ ഉള്ളൂ എന്ന്   ഇവർ  അവകാശപ്പെടുന്നു.

ഇവിടെ വിദേശീയർക്കുള്ള ജനറൽ മെഡിസിൻ കോഴ്സുകളും ഉണ്ട്. ഇന്തോനേഷ്യ, ബ്രസീൽ എന്നിവടങ്ങിൽ നിന്ന് വിദ്യാർഥികൾ ചില സീസണുകളിൽ കോഴ്സിന് എത്തുന്നത് സാധാരണമാണ്. 

യോഗ & മേടിറ്റേഷൻ ട്രെയിനിങ്ങും ഉണ്ട്. നൂറുപേർക്കിരികാവുന്ന ഒരു ആംഫി തിയേറ്ററും ഉണ്ട്. സെമിനാറുകൾ, വർക്ക് ഷോപ്പുകൾ എന്നിവ ഇവിടെ സാധാരണമായി അരങ്ങേറുന്നു.

മാങ്കരയുടെ പ്രകൃതി ഭംഗി വിവർണ്ണനാതീതാമാണ്. വനമധ്യത്തിലെന്നപോലെ, ഒരു  ഭാഗത്ത് പാറക്കെട്ടുകളുള്ള   വനം, മറ്റൊരു ഭാഗത്ത് മരങ്ങളും സസ്യങ്ങളും  നിറഞ്ഞ ഗ്രാമീണ അന്തരീക്ഷം. 

ഒരു  വിനായക കോവിൽ ആശുപത്രി വളപ്പിൽ ഉയർന്നുവരുന്നു. ഉദാരമതികളിൽ നിന്നുള്ള സംഭാവന കൊണ്ട് മാത്രമാണ് ഇതിന്റെ നിർമാണം. പൂർണമാകാൻ കുറച്ച് പണികൾ കൂടി ഉണ്ട്. ഈയിടെ ഒരു  പറ്റം ആനകൾ അതിന്റെ മുന്നിൽ നിന്ന് നിലയുറപ്പിച്ച് വിനായകന്റെ സാന്നിധ്യം അറിയിച്ചത്രേ. കഴിഞ്ഞ നാൽപത് വർഷത്തിൽ ആദ്യമായാണത്രേ ആനകൾ കാടിറങ്ങി വരുന്നത്. 


ദൈവീകാന്തരീക്ഷം തുളുമ്പുന്ന   പുണ്യഭൂമി പോലെ ഇവിടെ വരുന്ന  ആർക്കും തോന്നിപ്പോകും.  ആനക്കൂട്ടങ്ങളുടെ വരവ് ഒരു ശുഭ ലക്ഷണമായി ഇവിടുത്തുകാർ കരുതുന്നു.

ഉഴിച്ചൽ, പിഴിച്ചൽ, ധാര മുതലായ ആയുർവേദ ചികിൽസക്ക്  വളരെ പ്രസിദ്ധമാണ് ഈ സ്ഥാപനം.

Part 2

We first visited the wards where the patients were admitted. The name of this place where I should do my official duty is “Arya Vaidyan P.V Rama Varier Memorial Ayurveda Hospital and AVP training Academy”. This hospital is the branch of “Arya Vaidya Pharmacy (Coimbatore) Ltd”.

There are many wards here where they admit the patients and give treatment to them. A building with 22 rooms is one of the main buildings here. Buildings which have less than 10 rooms, cottages etc are some of the other facilities here. All the rooms have two cots with beds. These cots can be used as both single and double according to patients' needs.

All the rooms have one table, two chairs, one stool, an almirah, facility for the by-standers to lie down, bathrooms with western toilets and pipes which provide hot water all the time.  They have put nets in all the rooms to prevent the mosquitoes from entering the rooms. Also mosquito repellers are plugged in free of  charge.

Medicinal water is available here free. Dr Parathasarathy is the medical officer here. Dr Varsha and other doctors are also with him. Not only treatment but also medical courses are provided here. Diploma In Ayurvedic Health care assistance (recognized by the bharathiar university).

They say that such courses for the therapists are only available here. Here there are courses in short term general medicine and therapy for the foreigners. It is quite normal here that during some seasons students from Indonesia and Brazil come here for doing these courses.

Training in yoga and meditation is also provided here. There is an amphitheatre here where 100 persons can sit. Seminars and workshops are conducted here.

The beauty of Mangara is beyond description. It is like the middle of a forest, one side is full of rocks and the other side is a village area full of trees and plants. One Lord “Vinayaka”  temple is being built on the hospital plot. This temple is built with the contributions received from the patients and villagers. Little more work is left and the inauguration of the temple expected shortly.

They say that recently, a herd of elephants came infront of the temple which is considered as the presence of Lord Vinayaka.  As per their report this is for the first time in the last 40 years that elephants are coming down to the village from the forest.

Anyone who visits this place will feel that this place is full of divinity. The natives of this place consider the Elephants' arrival in  front of the temple as a good sign. This institution is famous for its ayurvedic treatments.
